In 2023-2024, Ahart deployed parent surveys across 102 campuses and 5 educational brands to determine why families stay and why they leave. For Phase 1, results were captured in a real-time dashboard, providing comparisons by school, model, and demographic factors. Net promoter scores were also compared to the Ahart Average providing additional context for results. Phase 2 includes parent focus groups and leaver interviews, answering the why with respect to the empirical findings.

TNTP (formerly The New Teacher Project) envisions a PK–12 experience that eliminates the impact of poverty and race on life outcomes, driving innovation and growth nationwide. Since 1997, as a leading education nonprofit, TNTP has used insight, courage, and action to create scalable solutions for complex challenges, from classrooms to systems. Today, TNTP partners with educators, system leaders, and communities across 39 states and over 6,000 districts to achieve ambitious student success goals. Their vision extends beyond schools, fostering cross-sector collaboration to enable academic, economic, and social mobility for young people.
In 2023, Ahart deployed Asynchronous Audio to support TNTP on two projects. The first project involved collecting stakeholder feedback to craft a mission statement for one of TNTP's client districts. The second project involved gathering extensive audio data to evaluate the ELA program of a large district in California.

The goal of the Canyon Center for Character Education is to build a national movement around character education using Grand Canyon University's College of Education’s vast network of students, faculty, alumni and partners to promote school cultures that encourage human and societal flourishing through virtue formation.
In 2023, Ahart partnered with the Canyon Center for Character Education to deploy our new virtuous motivation student survey as a pre- and post- assessment of their character education program. Drawing on the Neo-Aristotelian framework adopted by the Jubilee Centre for Character and Virtues and previous research on self-regulation and prosocial behavior, Dr. Bourgeois of Ahart Solutions and Dr. Matthew Post of the University of Tulsa developed a research instrument to tease out the antecedents of children’s moral behaviors. Leveraging the work of Richard Ryan and Edward Deci (2017), we connect self-determination theory to character development. The new Virtuous Motivation Scale assesses students in grades 4-12 on intellectual, moral, civic, and performance virtues along a continuum of motivation that includes a-motivation, external, introjected, identified, and virtuous motivation. Through empirical research we seek to understand how children internalize virtue and how cultural factors, including parenting and schooling, foster or thwart the internalization of virtue. In addition, we assess an incentivized environment (home and school) and school culture.
